As a whole, I’d rate Everything I Know About Love a 6.9 out of 10 now.
That rating doesn’t reflect a lack of love, it reflects growth. This album was on repeat for me for a long time, and songs like “Fragile” have stayed with me even years later. My taste has evolved, and so has Laufey’s music, but that doesn’t take away from how meaningful this album was to me at the time.
That’s exactly why I bought Everything I Know About Love on vinyl. It represents where my relationship with her music began, and sometimes that matters more than a perfect score.
